Accessibility statement
CSA is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of the technology they use, their individual abilities or the context in which they access it.
This statement applies to the website www.csaresearch.it and all of its public pages, in both the Italian and English versions.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Level AA success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, the technical reference cited by European standard EN 301 549. “Partially compliant” means that most requirements are met, but some content still contains non conformities, which are listed in the following section.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the reasons given.
Non-compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
Interactive maps. The maps on the Contact page are provided by an external service (OpenStreetMap) and are not fully operable by keyboard or interpretable by screen readers. However, the full addresses of our offices are available as text on the same page and in the website footer.
PDF documents. Some downloadable documents published on the website may not be fully tagged for accessibility. On request, we will provide the content of these documents in an accessible alternative format.
Third-party embedded content. Social media feeds and multimedia content embedded from external platforms (for example, LinkedIn) are generated by those platforms and are not under our direct editorial control.
Content not within the scope of accessibility requirements
Third-party content that is not funded, developed or controlled by CSA.
Accessibility features of the website
To make the website easier to use, we have adopted the following measures, among others:
– a “Skip to main content” link that lets users bypass repeated navigation;
– semantic page structure with hierarchical headings and labelled navigation regions;
– navigation menus, including the mobile version, that can be operated by keyboard and are correctly announced by assistive technologies;
– a focus indicator that is always visible during keyboard navigation;
– text alternatives for informative images;
– a responsive layout that allows text to be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or functionality;
– the language of each page is declared, so that screen readers pronounce content correctly in both the Italian and English versions;
– a display customisation tool, available via the dedicated button on every page, which allows users to change, among other things, the font size and colour contrast.
